Guess The Grape - Frequently Asked Questions

Want to know more about our Home Blind Wine Tasting Game then take a look at some of the questions we have often been asked by other people buying the game either to play themselves or as a wine gift for somebody else.

How many people can play?

One to sixteen, as a single bottle of wine will give sixteen standard tasting measures. However, our wines are so delicious you are sure to want more that a few sips, so we recommend playing the game with between four and ten people.

Do I have to know a lot about wine?

The fantastic thing about Guess The Grape is that it can be enjoyed by both novice and wine buff alike. If you know a bit about wine then judge for yourself what's in the bottle. If you are a complete beginner don't worry, follow our grape variety tips and tasting techniques and you'll probably show the experts a thing or two!

What preparation is required?

Pop the wines in the fridge if they are white, open them a while before serving, then fill the glasses, yes its as simple as that! Our easy to follow instructions will tell you the rest.

Does somebody have to be the adjudicator and sit out?

No, that's another great thing about this wine tasting game, all the wines are already concealed and the answers are in a sealed envelope so everyone can play.

What types of wine are included?

Obviously we can't give too much away here but all the wines are from the Corks & Cases portfolio of carefully selected wines from around the world. Take a look at the Corks & Cases Wine Shop and about us page on our website and you'll see that we are passionate about delivering high quality, affordable wines that are not widely available on the high street.

Can I send Guess The Grape Wine Game as a gift and can I add a personal message?

Of course, as with all our wine gifts we ensure that items sent as gifts are beautifully presented with an optional message of your choice.

Do I need special wine tasting glasses?

No any glasses will do as long as they are clear so that the wines true colour is visible. Glasses should also be large enough to swirl the wine within (and not get it all over the carpet!).

Should you have any further questions on the wine game please don't hesitate to contact us.
